Day 4: Bullet my day

This was supposed to be for yesterday so I’ll do yesterday…

  • Woke up at eleven to go to lunch with Paigers. We felt like it was the equivalent to getting out of bed at like 9 in the morning.
  • Group meeting at Starbucks, finished up our research report that is due at midnight tonight
  • Came home and showered/got ready for the day
  • Went back to Starbucks to study for my Global & Historical Studies final
  • Took my final
  • Ate gross pizza on Paige’s floor while she chowed down on Chinese.
  • Started my cinco de mayo celebration at 6.
  • Met up with Claire at a seniors house where we sat and pregamed on the porch
  • First cinco de mayo party - left before we got to bust the pinata which was a shame.
  • Then we went to another senior’s house where blacked out people were trying to start a fire and we worked on a jigsaw puzzle & didn’t make much progress.
  • We then went to Sigma Chi to pregame some more because they were waiting for their seniors to get back from La Haz before their house party started.
  • Got a ride for the 5 minute walk to phi psi
  • Around 10 o’clock we made our way to Phi Psi which was when we realized that most people HADN’T started drinking 4 hours earlier.
  • Got a ride to the Sig Chi house party (also only 5 minutes away)
  • Nora spilled a drink all over my shorts so for the rest of the night she had to announce to everyone that she spilled on me and I, in fact, did not pee my pants.
  • Only stayed out until 1:30 when we started to die
  • Tucked Claire into my bed and helped her order Jimmy Johns VITO
  • I then somehow made the 5 minute walk to Lambda to watch a movie.
  • Found everything hilarious, literally could not stop laughing all night.
  • Stayed up until 4:30 watching movies on their projector
  • Also throughout the night I perfected my goodbyes to everyone… “Alright well I guess I’ll see you in 2012. Bye!”

It was a great last night at the But.

Day 3: A Book That I Love

I wish I could name a book that I loved that was actually of literary merit, but to be honest right now I’m obsessed with The Choice by Nicholas Sparks and Picture Perfect by Jodi Picoult.

My all time favorite books are Perks of Being a Wallflower, Gone with the Wind, and Revolutionary Road.

Eventually I’ll go back to reading books that are challenging and question raising, but that’s not really what I’m looking for in books that I use to take a break from college/homework.
